I am su
per excited to start blogging about my new business – ShilohMae! On this blog you will see my custom sewn projects for my fabulous customers and my grandchildren! My grandaughters inspired me to quit my teaching job and start sewing again. I have so much to share with you.
Another passion is decorating and re-purposing. Whenever I change something in my home I’ll share it with you. My hope is to not only show you what I have done, but to learn from YOU, also. So please feel free to leave comments, suggestion and questions at the bottom of my post. I look forward to hearing from you!
One last item. Since my grandaughter’s inspired me to start this business I named it as a legacy to them, Shiloh Anne and Mae Brooke. These two beauties just celebrated their 1st birthdays. (They were born 12 days apart.) My husband and I were privileged to host their very “Cherry” birthday party brunch. Our menu included: Cherry Coke, Cherry Limeade, Black Cherry Jello Salad, Cherry Mash’s, Cherry Slices candy, Double Chocolate Cherry Muffins, Cherry Chip Cupcakes, along with breakfast casserole, chicken salad, hoagie sandwiches and fresh vegetables. We couldn’t have everything “cherry’! :) A friend made the cute tutu’s they are wearing, and I machine appliqued the cherry onesies they have on under their ‘birthday girl’ bibs!
